The Builder and The Framer was a production of the JMU Honors program; a radio drama celebrating James Madison's place in history and the role of slaves at Montpelier. Produced in cooperation with the Montpelier Foundation and the Orange County African- American Historical Society, The Builder and The Framer was presented to members of the JMU Honors Radio Drama Seminar.

 DCI oversaw the replication of the CD. The first run of this project was manufactured in less than a week for delivery at the James Madison 250th Anniversary Ceremonies at Montpelier.
