Presenting Public Radio Select - the sane way to run a CD of the Month Club. Public Radio Select (PRS) is managed by DCI, which has been creating CD premiums and serving public radio since 1997. With PRS, everything needed to make your monthly CD premium service successful is already in place.

1) Selection - With over a decade of experience working in public radio, PRS selects recordings that will please both the novice and the afficianato. Each selection is not only geared towards the public radio listener, but carefully considered in relation to previous offerings, so that over time the subscriber builds a balanced collection of quality music.

2) Connections - PRS, through DCI has ongoing relationships with most major and independent labels. We always have product to ship in a timely fashion.

3) Personnel - We handle every aspect of PRS from product selection through mailing. Imagine - all you have to do is give us the names of your subscribers and collect their pledge! We keep track of begin and stop dates, we check addresses against the USPS database for accuracy, we write the insert card, kit the packages and handle the mailing.

4) Customization - PRS completely customizes our packages so that everything appears to come from your station. The mailing address has your return address and logo on it, as does the insert card. We do the work, but you get the credit!

5) Accountability - Every month, PRS will send, along with our invoice, a complete listing of every subscriber from your station we mailed to, including start and end dates. This provides you documentation of your subscribers' service. PRS also e-mails a complete listing of its selections in an RTF format. This listing is updated monthly, and can be used (by cutting and pasting) for your own solicitations, website information, etc. PRS also sends a check copy to your station, so that you see exactly what was mailed, and have an idea of when subscribers receive it. It also ensures that your station has an air copy of the monthly selection.

6) Pricing - Pricing is per name mailed, per month plus postage. Quite simply, it is the base rate (to cover the check copy) plus the number of names mailed that month. Only two takers this fund drive? No problem! The per unit rate is unchanged. Have someone cancel after six months? PRS only charges for product shipped. No long-term commitment
